Information about the activities of the State service of food safety, market and protection of consumer benefits of the MEA of the RA

On 16-30 November the State service of food safety, market and protection of consumer benefits of the MEA of the RA were implemented 21 educational-methodical visits to 595 economic entities. educational and methodological raids were carried out mainly in economic entities in order to familiarize themselves with measures and actions for the prevention of a new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.
During the same period monitored measurements of the maximum residual content of nitrates in fruits and vegetables were carried out. Measurements show that the maximum amount of residues in plant products is comply with government approved standards.
In total 8080 kg of the maximum residues of nitrates in fruits and vegetables were measured, of which potatoes – 6030 kg, tomatoes – 100 kg, cucumbers – 60 kg, grapes – 40 kg, apple – 890 kg, pepper – 1020 kg, onion – 380kg, cabbage – 580 kg.
