Responsibles have many things to do in the regions for the sector’s regulation

On March 14, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh held a consultation on the issues of animal husbandry and veterinary with participation of directors of the regional veterinary service stations, as well as directors of the service for plant protection and the Republican laboratory of veterinary services and examination of food products.

Zhirayr Mirzoyan said, ”Violations of the pig behavior rules are still continuing, which hinders the development of pig-breeding in the republic. To regulate this sector, the directors of the regional veterinary service stations and the veterinarians have many things to do.”

The minister instructed to accurately record livestock, to provide a stable epidemic situation and to regulate problems in the food industry.

Head of the department of animal husbandry and veterinary of MoA Norayr Musayelyan presented the project of “Mandatory requirements for animal husbandry”.

Talking about the project of “Regulation of animal husbandry and pasture management”, Zhirayr Mirzoyan mentioned that it has already started and the results are noticeable.
