Norayr Musayelyan visited Shushi Technological University
On April 6 the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh Norayr Musayelyan visited the Shushi Technological University, which was transferred from Shushi to Stepanakert after the 44-day war, and got acquainted with the conditions of the construction and educational process.
During a meeting with the rector of ShTU Nver Miqayelyan, the teaching staff and students, Norayr Musaelyan stressed that the university is dear to him, since he once studied and taught here.
The Minister presented in detail the programs implemented by the Ministry, the conditions for their use, urged students to take their studies seriously, to be fully involved in the process so that in the future they could be in demand as “competitive professionals” and to be able to respond to the challenges of the modern world, especially in the context of the global food crisis.
Students and teachers voiced a number of questions and proposals aimed at strengthening the relationship between the ministry and the university and expanding cooperation.
After the meeting at the university, the minister, together with students, the rector and lecturers, visited the experimental site of the Shushi Technological University in the Ajapnyak region, and together with everyone took part in planting fruit trees.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of constructive and sincere communication.
