The minister visited Aygestan

On December 22, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh Zhirayr Mirzoyan visited Aygestan community of Askeran region where a meeting was held with the community in the school hall. The Minister mentioned that Aygestan has a distinctive number of administrative offenses in cattle breeding, which is worrisome. In addition to the legal issues and the deteriorating interpersonal relationship, there is also a great deal of damage to agricultural land.
Due to these and other features (including the particular geographical location of the village and the attractiveness of the tourism), the fastest regulation of animal husbandry sector should be implemented here. Norayr Musayelyan, head of Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services presented a program of “Regulation of Animal husbandry and Pasture Management” developed by the Ministry of Agriculture.
At the end of the meeting, the agriculture officials answered the community members’ questions.
