A number of programs aimed at the development of plant production have been approved

The purpose of the program to stimulate the sowing turnover is to involve unprocessed arable land in the turnover through the constant use of state support, improvement of agricultural measures of agricultural crops, increase of acreage and gross yield, as well as ensuring economic growth. Activities aimed at the implementation of the program: 1) Subsidizing the cost of spring crop seeds and providing subsidies, 2) Provision of gratuitous financial resources to persons engaged in the cultivation of vegetable and melon crops, 3) Provision of subsidies for the sale of crops obtained from the cultivation of corn and tobacco for silage. Taking as a basis the deadlines set by the program, local self-government bodies (Stepanakert, the Ministry of Agriculture) accept applications from land users who have carried out the cultivation of spring and vegetable-melon crops. Simultaneously with the applications, copies of certificates and passports of state registration of ownership and (or) lease and (or) gratuitous uses in respect of agricultural territories located within the administrative boundaries of communities are submitted. Subsidizing the cost of spring crop seeds and providing subsidies; Land users engaged in the processing of corn, sunflower, buckwheat and flax are provided with an appropriate amount of seeds per 1 hectare with a subsidy of 80% of the cost of seeds. Land users engaged in the processing of root crops and alfalfa are provided with an appropriate amount of seeds per 1 hectare with a subsidy of 100% of the cost of seeds (instead of the previous 80%), and when importing seeds with their own funds-a subsidy of 80% of the cost of seeds. When importing seeds by their own means, applicants must attach copies of the seed certificate, the document certifying the import, and the corresponding document on the results of the quality examination to the application: Applications are accepted until April 1 of the current year: A prerequisite for the use of this event is: in the case of corn, sunflower and alfalfa, the land plots are provided with irrigation water or, based on the meteorological indicators recorded in the specified territory, the climatic zone required for the cultivation of spring crops is a condition for the compliance of the land plot: Provision of gratuitous financial resources to persons engaged in the cultivation of vegetable and melon crops. For the processing of vegetable and melon crops, land users are provided free of charge a lump sum of 200,000 AMD per 1 hectare (mandatory conditions are the area of one whole land plot of at least 0.5 hectares and the presence of an irrigated field (except potatoes). Applications are accepted in two stages until May 1 and August 1 of the current year. Provision of subsidies for the sale of crops obtained from the cultivation of corn and tobacco for silage. A subsidy of 10 AMD per 1 kg is provided for silage during the sale of the crop obtained from the cultivation of corn, and in the case of the sale of the crop obtained from tobacco – 20 drams per 1 kg. In the case of corn silage, a subsidy is provided to livestock companies operating on the territory of the Republic of Artsakh for the sold harvest, and in the case of tobacco- for the sold harvest of tobacco raw materials. Purchasing companies submit information to the Ministry after the completion of the process of harvesting corn for silage no later than October 1 of each year, and for cigarettes – no later than November 30 of each year. After receiving the appropriate financial resources, the purchasing companies pay subsidies to land users for the sale of corn and tobacco crops for silage within five working days.
