Modernization of livestock buildings work continues in the Republic

As part of one of the programs implemented this year to improve the maintenance, breeding and quality of farm animals in the Republic of Artsakh, the introduction of modern technologies in animal husbandry “programs to stimulate the development of animal husbandry in the Republic of Artsakh”, from November 5 to 11, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Agriculture of the RA headed by Deputy Minister Tigran Arstamyan, in the communities of Aygestan and Khndzristan of the Askeran region, Mokhratagh and Mets Shen Martakert region, Lisagor and Yeghtsahogh of Shushi region and also in the communities of Gishi and Martuni of the Martuni region,according to the received and approved applications, they carried out monitoring and acceptance of works on electrification of livestock buidings.
Within the framework of this program, a total of 30 applications were submitted and approved to the Ministry, of which 21 were for electrification and 9 for water supply.
In the near future, we will monitor and receive water in 3 livestock buildings of Askeran, Martakert and Martuni regions,”- said R. Gevorgyan, Head of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of the MEA of the RA.
State assistance is provided based on each conditional animal in the amount of a maximum of 70,000 AMD, of which 90% is free of charge with state funds, and 10% is paid by the applicant for his own funds to the company carrying out the construction:
