Zhirayr Mirzoyan visited Martakert region

On July 18, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh Zhirayr Mirzoyan, accompanied by Deputy Ministers Vilen Avetisyan and Hamlet Apresyan, and Director of NKR Village and Agricultural Support Fund Tigran Tsatryan visited Martakert region. Zhirayr Mirzoyan and others implemented monitorings on state reserve areas, especially on sown areas of maize, sunflower and flax, and on areas for modern horticulture (about 500 hechtares) where necessary wiring and substation installation works for drip irrigation are in process.
The Minister also visited Kamo Balasanyan’s farm where sunflower, maize and winter wheat and barley are cultivated. He also has apple, peach and apricot, mandarin and banana orchards.
Then the Minister and others visited Martakert regional administration and discussed a number of issues on agriculture.
At the end of the working day the responsibles for agriculture visited the Khachen reservoir.
