The first application for the import of breeding animals from abroad was submitted to the MEA of the RA
Within the framework of the decision of the Government of the RA “On approval of the program of partial subsidizing of the cost of breeding animals imported to the Republic of Artsakh”, “GOLD EGG” LLC submitted an application to the Ministry of Economy and Agriculture of the RA to receive support for importing from Persia 4.5month-old ‘Lohman Brown” egg-laying 6000 hens.
Director of “GOLD EGG” LLC Georgy Poghosyan conduct a poultry farm in the Sunjik area of the Noragyugh community of the Askeran region and plans to replenish the existing number of birds with breeding types.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Agriculture of the RA Tigran Arstamyan and representatives of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of the MEA have already examined the territory of the farm, after which the latter expressed confidence that the existing conditions fully meet the requirements, established by the program.
“It is not excluded that the selected breed is very promising, provides up to 90% of spawning,” said Radik Gevorgyan head of the department of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine of the MEA.
It should be noted that the program provides for subsidizing 50% of the cost of imported breeding animals, but no more than:
700,000 AMD for per head of cattle
50,000 AMD for per head of small cattle
200,000 AMD for per pig
From 5000 to 15000 AMD for per bird,
15000 AMD for per rabbit
35,000 AMD for per bee colony.
