Congratulatory message of the Minister of Agriculture of the RA Norayr Musayelyan on the occasion of the Day of the Veterinarian

According to the Decree of the Government of the RA dated April 26, 2022 No. 470-N, in the Republic of Artsakh the last Friday of April of each year will henceforth be celebrated as the day of the veterinarian. Therefore, today in Artsakh the sincerest, kind, humane, in need of the most demanded profession veterinarians celebrate their professional holiday. The profession of a veterinarian arose when a person began to tame animals, to live side by side with them. This profession is very popular in our time, because without your highly professional knowledge and skills, both agricultural and domestic animals, and in some cases wild ones, cannot survive. As the person in charge of the area and veterinarian by my profession I must say that everything possible is being done to use the role of a veterinarian in Artsakh, to increase the demand for this very advanced profession. In the near future, a list of new tariffs for veterinary services in Artsakh will be approved, which will allow our specialists to be properly paid for services provided in the private sector. It is planned to organize courses aimed at improving the professional knowledge and practical skills of veterinarians. These and other measures are meant to make the veterinarian more valuable and in demand, which should certainly be accompanied by your highly professional contribution to our community. I would especially like to note two of our colleagues who died during the 44-day war, and bow before their memory. Dear colleagues, I congratulate you on the holiday, I wish you all health, success and professional growth.
