On February 17 Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh Norayr Musaelyan, accompanied by Deputy Tigran Arstamyan and other representatives of the ministry’s staff, visited the of “Martakert regional veterinary station” SNCO on the occasion of the appointment of a new director of the organization.

Former director Ara Hakobyan resigned of his own accord. The minister first heard the annual report on the activities of the latter, and then presented to the newly appointed director.

“Svetlana Petrosyan is one of the experienced, highly qualified specialists in this field. We hope that she will apply her knowledge and skills to the development of veterinary medicine in the region. The growth of livestock in each region directly depends on the level of the veterinary service, which will further increase in the near future. “In this process, not only the full potential of the director of the organization is expected, but also the full potential of each employee,”- the minister stressed.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the administration of the Martakert region Arsen Avanesyan, who expressed his readiness to support any initiative that would contribute to the development of agriculture in the region. Norayr Musayelyan, in turn, used the role of close cooperation between the administration and the ministry to achieve success.
